65th Annual General Meeting and Lunch

The Royal Concert Hall, Glasgow

On behalf of President Anne and the committee, we wish you all, A Happy and Healthy New Year.

 

Our first lunch of 2025 will be held in The City of Music Studio, Glasgow Royal Concert Hall.

 

There are a couple of important changes to our 2025 itinerary. The October Lunch has been brought forward by a day to the 16th of October. It is in The Virgin Hotel, in Edinburgh.

 

Our June Lunch has also been brought forward by a day to Friday 13th as we are now going to

THE JOHNNIE WALKER EXPERIENCE on Princes Street in Edinburgh! A new venue for us, which will not be spoiled by being on Friday 13th!

 

There is a new version of the dates flier enclosed with this circular. Please update your diary, in whatever form it is!

 

The A.G.M. will start at 11.30. If you are having guests, who are not Club Members, with you at the lunch, they will be most welcome, but please ask them to arrive about 12.15. If your guest is a member, please advise their name so they can have the paperwork for the meeting mailed to them. Like you, they will receive; Agenda, Wine Stock Sheet, 2024 Minutes and Accounts, all sent by email in advance of the meeting.

 

The bar will open as soon as the AGM is finished.

 

The full menu and the day’s wine selection are below. Your Committee is sure that you will enjoy the Lunch and Wines. Please advise in advance of any dietary issues, not just on the day.

 

We hope that there will be a good turnout for the AGM and Lunch and we look forward to seeing the membership in our Glasgow Home.

 

As usual, there will be a raffle. Any prize donations to enhance the ones put up by the Club will be most welcome.

 

N.B. Bookings for 2025 lunches after February, will not be taken before the AGM is over. Priority for 2025 lunches will be given to people attending the AGM Lunch.
